I’m Mandy

After working as a counselor, coach, and manager my entire career, I believe the things we do always make sense. Clients often tell me they don’t understand their behaviors or feelings. It doesn’t make sense to them why they are getting in their own way or falling into patterns that aren’t serving them. When we spend time really looking at what is happening and discussing the situation, they gain the clarity they need to change what isn’t working.

Life is constantly changing and what worked in one season of our life may not work in another season. Our approach and focus need to change as our life changes and evolves.  We can’t control what happens in life, but we can learn to be more resilient and proactive.

I’m good at listening to people’s stories and helping them determine the strategies, habits, and routines that will put them on a better path. Together we will develop an understanding of where you are and how to get where you want to go. We are all unique and what works for someone else, may not be what is best for you. 

What hasn’t worked in the past gives us valuable information about where adjustments need to be made. You can do this and I can help!

What I believe:

  • Mental and emotional fitness isn’t something we have or don’t have. It’s something we can strengthen and grow.

  • If we aren’t managing our thoughts and feelings, we are allowing those things to manage us. Often in a direction, we don’t want to go.

  • Just like we can strengthen the body, we can strengthen our ability to successfully navigate life’s challenges.

  • We are better for the people we love when we invest energy and time in taking care of ourselves, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

  • Our lives are created by the small things we do each day.  When we are intentional about doing specific small things, we feel better.

  • Every person is unique and what works for one may not work for another. You need your own individual plan.
